Cambridge vs Guildford Assaut Challenge

Cambridge Academy hosted a training weekend and 'assaut' competiton at Coleridge Community College. About 40 members from Cambridge Academy, Cambridge University Kickboxing Society, Guildford University and Guildford Spectrum attended one or both days. The main instructor on the saturday was Ollie Batts teaching skills from a variety of martial arts. Later in the day the group split up to train in Kali with Julie Gabriel, grappling with David McLaughlin and La Canne with Fred Berst. The competition on the sunday attracted 29 fighters, many competing for the first time. Overall result: Cambridge 7, Guildford 5, with 3 matches drawn.
